If you have a spare room, or vacant property you could help change lives. As the leading property site in Ireland, Daft.ie is trying to make it easier and quicker to help Ukrainian refugees who are in dire need of accommodation ASAP.

What do I need to do?

Simply click the button below and you can start describing your room(s) or property that you’re willing to share. It would be great if you can upload pictures and describe what amenities are available, i.e. en-suite, access to own separate bathroom, access to shared bathroom etc.

There is no charge to place your ad, and once uploaded, your ad will NOT be publicly searchable on Daft.ie. Instead we’ll provide special links to Ukrainian groups, communities and charities throughout Ireland* to search for rooms and properties like yours. They’ll then be in touch with you directly to discuss further.

How do I know if my property / location is suitable?

Access to local amenities and networks are important, but we’d suggest you leave it up to the people seeking accommodation to decide what is important. The best way you can do this is by describing as much as you can. How many people can you fit in the room/property? Do you have schools nearby? Are there any shops in walking distance? Do you own pets and/or can you accommodate pets too?

What if I’ve already pledged a room to the Red Cross or other group?

That’s great, thank you. We’d strongly suggest you continue to upload your ad, and once live, we’ll send you the URL of your property. If you’re then contacted about your pledge, you’ll have all the details to hand (including photos) with one link that you can forward on.
